| 'Jujube Red' is a luscious color used in Asia where they know the Jujube as a reliable crop. Jujube fruit are similar in taste to an Apple when fresh and dry to taste more like a Date though not as sticky or as sweet. Jujube is a good herb for poor digestion and many other stomach upsets. It aids digestion, strengthens the spleen, purifies the blood and relieves hunger while providing a healthy energy boost. When out on the trail for long hours I always take Jujube with me in case the work goes longer than intended.
